Militant Killed in Sopore gunfight

 

Srinagar, April 8 : One militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Officials said firing has been stopped and searches have been carried to find out any militant bodies under the debris. Added no body has been recovered sofar.

Earlier, A joint team of army’s 22 RR, 179 battalion CRPF and SOG had cordoned off Gulabad area of Arampora Sopore on Tuesday evening following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
