Srinagar, June 13: Authorities on Saturday said that Curfew shall remain in place in ward-05 and ward-06 of north Kashmir’s Bandipora in view of apprehension to Community Health.
In an order copy which lies with news agency KINS reads, In continuation to this Office Order No. DCB/PS/2020/2852-66 dated 04.06-2020, & In view of the apprehension of threat to community health and spread of COVID- I 9 reported by Chief Medical Officer, Bandlpora, vide his letter No. CMOB/Estt/2020/3036-38 doted 13.06-2020, I, Rovinder Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate,/ Chairperson, DDMA, Bandipora, in exercise of powers vested in me under Section-144 CR.PC, read with Section-34 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, do hereby Impose following restrictions in Red Zone Ward 5 & 6, MC Bondipora, with immediate effect.
There shall be complete ban on the movement of people in/outside/within the Red Zone Ward 5 & 6, MC Bandiporo except with prior permission of this office and for Government Personnel associated with COVID- 19 Sampling/ Surveillance.
Sr. Superintendent of Police, Bandipora, shall implement the orders. Any violation of this order by any person shall invite action under IPC the order copy reads.
