22 migrant laborers sent off to their respective place

SHOPAIN, JUNE 15: The District Administration Shopian today sent off 22 interstate migrant labourers of West Bengal stranded due to lockdown to their respective places by bus.

Before boarding, the bus was fully sanitized, social distancing was also maintained inside the bus to avoid spread of any kind of virus besides financial assistance worth Rs 500 per head and breakfast, packed food and masks were also distributed among these migrant labourers on the spot.

Keeping in view the spread of novel coronavirus (Covid-19), these labourers were advised and stressed to strictly adhere to the advisories issued by the government and also maintain social distancing inside the bus during their travel to their homes.
