‘Best way to avenge killing of 20 soldiers is to boycott Chinese products’: Avinash Rai Khanna

Ishtiyaq Ahmad

Srinagar, June 17 (KINS): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) national vice-president and Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Avinash Raina Khanna while expressing strong resentment over the killing of 20 Indian soldiers in a violent face-off in Galwan Valley of Ladakh, Wednesday stated that one of the best ways to take avenge is to go for country vide boycott of Chinese products.

“I believe this is the non-violent way of reacting to Chinese aggression in Ladakh. A large part of Chinese products are being sold in India and our country is a huge market and economy generating area for China. So every single citizen of the country must boycott Chinese products to avenge the killing of 20 soldiers,” Khanna told news agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS) over phone from News Delhi.

Khanna said that Chinese forces killed unarmed Indian army men who died in sub-zero temperatures in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh Union Territory. “Hope better sense prevails. We are united in this challenging hour. We believe that the best way to reply to China is to boycott all products that are sold in Indian markets,” he said.

Earlier, in the day BJP’s senior leader in Kashmir and the former legislator Sofi Muhammad Yousuf said that Chinese products will be boycotted in the Valley to teach them a lesson. “This will be a best way to make them feel what mistake they committed,” Sofi had told KINS.(KINS)
