DDC Kupwara reviews BADP works

KUPWARA, JUNE 19: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the pace and progress of developmental works executed in Model Villages under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) in the district.

It was informed in the meeting that the developmental works under BADP scheme have been already taken up at a cost of Rs.32 crore in various model villages of Border areas, which include Nawagabra, Hajitera, Taad, Machill, Kunan Poshpora Hanjipora and Mundian Patroo. It was informed that an expenditure of Rs.10 crore has been registered for the work done so far under the scheme.

On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned officers to submit the work done report within 2 days, so that same could be taken up with higher authorities for further required action.

Additional District Development Commissioner(ADDC), Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone; Joint Director Planning; District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Executive Engineer I&FC and other concerned attended the meeting.
