Did not meet any BJP leader: Shiekh Imran

Srinagar, June 22(KINS): Former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran Monday evening claimed that he did not meet J&K BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul.Talking to KINS, he said that he was on Gulistan news channel and did not meet any BJP leader.”It is wrong. I did not meet any BJP leader as KINS has reported. I was busy on Gulistan channel,” he told KINS. Meanwhile in a late night statement issued to KINS, Imran said, “I was even interviewed by Gulistan news channel. The reporter from the said channel was with me for more than an hour. I want to clear that i did not meet any BJP leader, but some people who lost their chair through bite of no confidence are frustrated and helpless”.” It is absolutely wrong. If I would meet any bjp leader I would meet openly with an announcement in broad day light but as the meeting never took place I don’t need to hide like a coward, he said in a statement. “I did not meet any BJP leader. These tactics should be stopped. I was also busy with one of the reporters of Gulistan channel,” he said in a statement.(KINS)
