Girl attempts suicide in Sopore

Srinagar, July 9(KINS):
A young girl allegedly attempted suicide in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.


Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) said a girl in her 20’s attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Seelu Sopore. However, the timely action of the family saved the young girl.


A police officer told KINS that a case has been registered in this regard and investigation set into motion.


It is pertinent to mention here day by day suicide cases is on the rise in Kashmir valley. As reported by news agency KINS, in the past month 12 persons lost their lives after they took an extreme step. (KINS)
