Youth killed over land dispute in South Kashmir

Srinagar, July 09 (KINS): A youth was killed in a land dispute between two families in south Kashmir’s Kokernag area on Thursday.


Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) said on land controversy near DPS Vailoo (School) in Kokernag area between two families a youth was killed.


Following the firing incident, a team of police reached the spot and started an investigation into the case reports added.


A police officer confirmed the incident to KINS said a case FIR number 94/2020 has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated. The officer identified deceased youth as Ishfaq Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, a resident of Gohan Vailoo.(KINS)
