UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam held at 11 centres in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 04 (KINS): Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today conducted Civil Services (preliminary) examination, 2020 at 11 designated centres here.

A total of 2163 candidates appeared in the examination. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir had made overall arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination in Kashmir division besides ensuring foolproof secrecy and custody of the examination material.

A separate centre for 39 specially-abled candidates with all the necessary facilities had also been established at College of Education, Srinagar.

Commissioner/ Secretary, Labour & Employment Department, Saurabh Baghat, also appointed as Examination Observer visited all the examination centres  to take stock of the situation with regard to smooth conduct of the examination.

In the wake of Covid-19 situation, all the prescribed SOPs and guidelines were followed strictly. (KINS)
