Srinagar police facilitates Police Public interaction meetings


Srinagar, October 21 (KINS): As a part of public outreach programme, two Police public interaction meetings were facilitated by Srinagar Police at SDPO Office Zakoora. Social distancing norms and other protocols were followed during the meetings.
In a statement issued to news agency KINS the Police said that the interaction meetings were chaired by SDPO Zakoora and attended by transport representatives of New Kashmir Transport Company and New Taxi Stand Hazratbal.
During the meetings, the participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
During the meeting participants were asked to refrain from overcharging the passengers. The participants have assured that they will abide the Law and will cooperate with Police.
The participants also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.(KINS)
