Srinagar, Nov 13 (KINS): A hands-on-training regarding election related guidelines and poll procedure was organised for polling and Presiding officers by the District Election Authority, Udhampur, here ahead of the forthcoming District Development Council/Panchayat –By Election-2020.
The training was organized under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Dr. Piyush Singla at seven different venues of District Udhampur .
In the training programme, as many as 4507 presiding officers and other polling staff were trained by the Master Trainers for smooth conduct of the DDC election in the district.
During the training session, the District level master trainers Mohd Latief, Abhinav Gupta and Madan Lal, provided hands on training to the polling & presiding officers about the process of polling and collection of polling materials, handling of ballot boxes, counting of votes and other process and procedures.
Dy DEO Dr Shavi briefed the participants about the process of polling and stressed upon them to do your duties with full dedication and enthusiasm for conducting of free and fair elections in the district.(KINS)
