18 premier division teams from J&K, Ladakh & other states participating in RKFC cup
Jammu Unites, J&K Bank, JKSPDC, Kashmir Avengers FC win matches

Srinagar Dec 29 (KINS): Amid chilling cold, 18 premier division teams from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and other states are these days participating in Real Kashmir Football Club cup at TRC Turf Srinagar.
For the last few days, several matches were played at TRF Turf Srinagar.
In one of the matches, Jammu United defeated Real Kashmir Elites 1-0. Munish Manhas scored the winning goal and was declared hero of the match award.
Similarly, JK Bank defeated Arco FC by 1-0 in a tight contest. Waris was the only goal scorer of the match and was declared hero of the match.
JKSPDC XI defeated F&S XI by huge margin of 4-0.Shafqat scored the 3 goals and was declared hero of the match award.
In another match Kashmir Avengers FC defeated Shaheen FC Jammu by 1-0 in a tight contest. Kelvin was the only goal scorer of the match and was declared hero of the match.
Real Kashmir FC jointly with JKFA and AIFF and in collaboration with JKSC is organizing Jammu & Kashmir’s first ever, Official National Level Football Competition, the Real Kashmir Cup, as a show of unity, solidarity and peace.
The tournament began from December 27 at the TRC Stadium, Srinagar.
“This is the single largest football event being held in Jammu & Kashmir after Real Kashmir FC hosted 2 seasons of the I-league in 2018 and 2019. All Covid Protocols in place for sporting events in the state are being followed for this tournament,” organisers said in a statement to news agency KINS.
The official broadcaster of the event is DD Kashir which is broadcasting the matches. The RKFC became the first club from J&K to win a National Level Football Trophy, after becoming champions of the 123rd IFA Shield on the 19th of December this year. (KINS)
