Commissioner Secretary HED visits NCC Training Camp at Nagrota


JAMMU, JANUARY 17: The 2nd J&K NCC Girls Battalion, Jammu, organized a seven day Army Training Camp at Nagrota with an aim to boost the spirit of cadets, the future warriors of India.
Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education Department, Talat Parvez Rohilla, today visited the camp and interacted with the principles of various degree colleges, ANOs, CTOs and Cadets there.
During deliberations with the cadets, he elaborated the role of NCC in inculcating the qualities of discipline, leadership, team spirit and national integration in forging the cadets into dynamic and responsible citizens of the country. “The NCC not only shapes the character and destiny of a student but also helps them to come out of their cocoons and look upon them as a soldier and a useful citizen of the country”, he added.
Commissioner Secretary applauded the ANOs, CTOs and cadets for their dedication and hard work adding that NCC cadets and their mentors ignite the spark of nationalism in other youth of the nation.
