e-office System Training imparted at Shopian

SHOPIAN, JULY 03 (KINS): The District Administration Shopian today organized e-office system training for the officers and officials of various departments at Mini Secretariat Arhama here.

The Trainers imparted e-office Training to the concerned through power point presentation with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani in Chair.

To ensure roll out of e-office, the departments have to adopt e-office software of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) as the only mode of transaction of official business file work in their respective offices and also to adopt best practices aimed at improving the efficiency in e-office system, disposal of official business.

The time-bound roll out of e-office in Government Offices will be a step towards the introduction of paperless offices, besides, shifting official records and avoiding wear and tear as well as the loss of official records during transportation.

Further, the establishment of DR site outside J&K will ensure safe custody and retrieval of data in the event of unforeseen disasters.

The shift to e-Office will bring a considerable improvement in the pace of disposal of official business and establish accountability through monitorable statistics of file movement, thereby improving public service delivery.

Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Shahbaz Ahmed Boda, besides others concerned were present on the occasion. (KINS)
