No recruitment rally in Kashmir from Aug 21 to 30: Army

 Srinagar, Aug 3 (KINS ): Terming the circular about a recruitment rally, that is doing rounds on social media as fake, the Army on Tuesday said that no such drive has been planned between August 21 and August 30 in Kashmir valley.

Defence Ministry spokesperson Colonel Emron Musavi said that it is clarified that no recruitment rally has been planned under the aegis of Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar covering the districts of Bandipora, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag and Kulgam at Sonarwani, Bandipora or anywhere in the Kashmir valley from August 21 to August 30, 2021.

“The message being circulated on WhatsApp/social media is unfounded and fake.  It is requested that no cognizance be taken of this fake message,” he added.
