Jammu , Oct 2 ( KINS) On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti a Swachta Abhiyan was punched by Police of Jammu Zone. All the Police Station premises and district Police offices were cleaned through a special drive in which all officers and jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Police participated. Each Police Station also adopted another area outside the police station premises for cleanliness.
At the Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, ADG Mukesh Singh-IPS and his staff took part in a special drive and cleaned their office premises and also the nearby areas of Panjtirthi. ADG administered an oath to his staff and urged them to devote at least two hours every week for Shramdaan. Speaking on the occasion, he asked all Policemen to take the message of cleanliness to their homes, villages and Mohalla and also to teach their children to keep their surroundings clean.
Zonal Police Jammu pledges to keep up the momentum to keep Jammu clean and green and also to carry forward the message to the citizens of Jammu.( KINS)
