Advisor Farooq Khan visits Haj House to assess facilities for upcoming pilgrimage

 

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 8 ( KINS): Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today visited the Haj House here at Bemina to take stock of all the facilities available for Haj-2022.

On the occasion the Advisor visited the newly constructed dormitory block and directed the executing agency to install the lift facility there for the ease of old and weak pilgrims. He asked the engineers to give facelift to the building that has earlier been used as Covid wellness centre.

Advisor Khan also asked the CEO, JK Haj Committee, Abdul Salam Mir to beautify the lawns in this Haj facility. He advised him that a portion of the land should be developed as an orchard and another into a beautiful garden to enhance the appeal of its surroundings.

He further asked the Haj Committee officers to create ample facilities of watch& ward and cleanliness especially during Haj days. He asked them to look into the avenues of making heating arrangements in the building.

He also advised them to give best of the facilities to the pilgrims in the upcoming Haj pilgrimage. He asked them to make their stay at this facility comfortable and facilitate them in whatever way possible so that this lifetime opportunity becomes memorable for them.( KINS)
