Srinagar, Dec 10: The Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, visited the home of Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani in Srinagar, expressing heartfelt condolences.
Accompanied by ADGP Law and Order Vijay Kumar, IG Kashmir V. K. Birdi, and other officers, DGP Swain conveyed the enduring support of the J&K Police family and assured that the institution would take care of the martyr’s family.
The DGP, along with fellow officers, prayed for the peace of the martyr. Additionally, they visited Military Hospital BB Cantt. Srinagar to inquire about the health of Police Selection Grade Constable Mohammad Hafeez, injured in a terrorist attack. DGP Swain assured all possible assistance for the constable’s recovery.
