Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Extends Opening Hours of Old Cave for Devotees’ Convenience

Srinagar, Jan 14: In a thoughtful move to accommodate devotees, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) in Jammu and Kashmir has decided to keep the old cave open for darshan from 10 am to 4 pm and from 10.30 pm to 5 am.
Recognizing the significance of uninterrupted spiritual access, this decision aims to provide devotees with extended hours to seek blessings at the revered old cave. The revised schedule is expected to facilitate a more accessible and convenient pilgrimage experience for the faithful.
The SMVDSB’s decision reflects a commitment to enhancing the overall spiritual journey for devotees visiting the sacred shrine. Pilgrims will now have the opportunity to participate in darshan during both daytime and nighttime hours, catering to diverse schedules and preferences.
The extended opening hours align with the board’s dedication to ensuring that devotees can connect with their faith seamlessly. Pilgrims are encouraged to take advantage of this accommodating schedule as they embark on their sacred journey to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
