Srinagar, Jan 15: Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain addressed reporters during his Public Darbar in Kupwara, highlighting the decision to shift the dialogue away from Srinagar to better address the grievances of the people. “Our focus is on immediate resolution, providing relief to the public,” Swain stated.
He emphasized the importance of addressing both public and police family concerns, expressing a commitment to resolving issues on the spot. “The families of our martyrs are not forgotten; we are actively working to address their genuine concerns,” the DGP affirmed. Swain recounted meeting families of martyred police officers in Kupwara, acknowledging their concerns and pledging to address them promptly.
Swain also underscored the significance of community involvement in maintaining peace. “Public contribution is crucial, and I am thankful for the community’s active role in fostering a peaceful environment. Criminals won’t go unpunished,” he asserted, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining law and order.
