Kulgam Police Nab Two Gamblers, Seize ₹6800 in Stake Money

Srinagar, Jan 18: Kulgam Police swiftly arrested two individuals involved in gambling, identified as Afroz Ahmad Tantray and Mohammad Rafiq Wani.
The police, acting on reliable information, raided the site and caught the gamblers red-handed with ₹6800 stake money and a set of playing cards. Both individuals have been booked under FIR No.16/2024 U/S 13 of the Gambling Act at Police Station Qazigund.
Kulgam Police urges community cooperation in curbing social crimes and assures ongoing efforts to maintain public safety.
