Srinagar, May 21: Amitabh Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa, visited the Me & K Pashmina Centre today to gain a deeper understanding of the intricate processes involved in creating pashmina products.
The visit provided an opportunity to observe the meticulous techniques of pashmina spinning, weaving, and embroidery that are essential to producing these luxurious textiles.
During his visit, Kant engaged with the skilled artisans at Me & K, learning firsthand about their dedication and expertise in the craft.
This interaction highlighted the traditional methods and the artisans’ commitment to maintaining the high quality of pashmina.
