Srinagar, July 05: Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department, chaired a public darbar in Budgam to address public issues and demands.
He encouraged the District Administration to ensure prompt service delivery, timely completion of developmental works, and the commissioning of completed projects. Kumar urged the public to participate actively in curbing drug abuse and supporting the Swachhata campaign. He emphasized the importance of public involvement in government schemes and services, acknowledging the public’s role in successful developmental activities. Kumar assured that genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned authorities for prompt action. This public darbar is part of the government’s initiative to deploy Administrative Secretaries to hear and redress public grievances in assigned districts.
