Top BJP Leaders Convene for Executive Meeting in Jammu

Srinagar, July 5:Union Ministers Dr. Jitendra Singh and G. Kishan Reddy, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, and Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina, along with other party leaders, gathered for the BJP’s executive meeting in Jammu. The event took place at the Party Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Addressing media inquiries about the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Tarun Chugh reaffirmed the BJP’s unwavering commitment to democracy, referencing the party’s resilience during the Emergency period imposed by Congress. “The BJP is always prepared. We strongly believe in democracy. When the Congress imposed Emergency in the country and MISA was imposed on 1.40 crore people, even then the BJP fought for democracy,” Chugh stated.
G. Kishan Reddy expressed his delight at being among the diligent and dedicated BJP Karyakartas in Jammu and Kashmir. “I look forward to working together to bloom the lotus in the valley,” he said.
Tarun Chugh, recently re-nominated as the party observer for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, conveyed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president JP Nadda. He pledged to intensify his efforts for the party and to advocate for the prime minister’s policies and vision in the region. Chugh highlighted the notable progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir, attributing it to various development and welfare schemes initiated by the prime minister. He emphasized the region’s shift from terrorism to tourism, noting that the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh now see new hope in the BJP.
The previous evening, Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda chaired a meeting with senior J&K BJP leaders at BJP Headquarters in New Delhi. This meeting also included BJP National General Secretary (Org.) BL Santhosh, Union Minister and Election Incharge for J&K G. Kishan Reddy, National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, and Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood.(KNS)
