Srinagar, July 18: In a move to accelerate the ongoing developmental projects in Srinagar, Commissioner Secretary to the Government Housing and Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur IAS, conducted a detailed inspection of various sites today. She was accompanied by Owais Ahmad, Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and CEO of Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL).
The visit aimed to assess the progress of current projects and ensure they are completed on time with the highest quality standards. During the inspection, Kaur emphasized the importance of adhering to deadlines while maintaining rigorous quality control measures.
“We are committed to transforming Srinagar into a model city,” said Kaur. “All ongoing works must be expedited without compromising on the quality. Our goal is to ensure that these projects bring tangible benefits to the residents and enhance the overall infrastructure of the city.”
Commissioner Owais Ahmad echoed her sentiments, stating, “We are working tirelessly to meet the expectations of the citizens. Our focus remains on sustainable and inclusive development, and we are keen on making sure that every project meets the desired standards.”
