Srinagar, Aug 30 (KINS): Sunil Sharma, the BJP General Secretary and candidate for the Padder Nagseni Assembly constituency, expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prospects in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
Sharma declared that the BJP is poised for a decisive victory, while opposition parties like the National Conference (NC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Indian National Congress (INC) are losing influence across the region.
“NC, PDP, and INC are steadily losing their ground. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are increasingly rallying behind the BJP, drawn by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership,” Sharma stated, according to KINS.
He emphasized that support for the BJP is growing from all corners of Jammu and Kashmir, with citizens aligning themselves with the party’s vision for the future. Sharma also pointed to recent developments, including key political defections to the BJP, as evidence of the party’s strengthening momentum.
Among those who have recently joined the BJP are members from NC, DPAP (Democratic Progressive Azad Party), and Abdul Rashid, a Scheduled Tribes (ST) Board Member. “These leaders have recognized the BJP’s clear and progressive vision for Jammu and Kashmir and have chosen to stand with us,” Sharma added.
Speaking at a rally in Chattar, Kuntwara, within Kishtwar District, Sharma laid out the BJP’s development agenda for the region, promising continued progress and prosperity under the party’s governance.
He called on the people to support the BJP in the upcoming elections to ensure that the region remains on its path of growth and stability.
Sharma’s rally in Kishtwar is part of his broader election campaign across the Padder Nagseni constituency, where he has been actively mobilizing support. The gathering at Chattar, Kuntwara, was marked by enthusiastic participation, with supporters waving BJP flags and chanting in favor of the party and its leadership.(KINS)
