J&K statehood will be restored: Tarun Chugh

Srinagar, Oct 20 (KINS): BJP senior leader and National General Secretary,Tarun Chugh said on Sunday that the promise of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir remains intact, with the Prime Minister and Home Minister having already confirmed this commitment.
“There is no issue with Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament have already made it clear that statehood will be restored,” Chug stated, as per news agency KINS.
He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to trust in the leadership of Narendra Modi, which has opened doors to peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
Chug said that it is unnecessary to keep revisiting the issue when the promise has already been made.
His comments come at a time when discussions around the restoration of statehood continue to dominate with the political parties, with many eagerly awaiting the return of statehood. (KINS)
