Doctor’s killing in Gagangeer terror attack leaves Budgam village in mourning

Srinagar, Oct 21 (KINS): The doctor’s killing in a terror incident at Gagangeer in the Ganderbal district has left behind a grieving family and plunged Budgam district into shock and mourning. Six other innocent people also lost their lives in this brutal terror attack.The incident has sent shockwaves through the valley, leaving the people in deep sorrow and fear. The doctor, a father of three, was known for his service to the community and his devoutness.
The news of his untimely death has sent waves of sorrow across the village of Budgam. The attack, which occurred late at night, has left every eye in the village filled with tears and fear.
“We are all suffering from this crisis. The doctor who was with us yesterday is now gone,” a local elder with a heavy heart told KINS.
The doctor, who had a deep commitment to his profession and faith, was considered a role model for the community.
Villagers remember him as a man of honor and dedication. “I will always remember Dr Sahib for his tireless efforts. He was still young, but he dedicated his life to his services,” said another mourner.
“The doctor had recently witnessed his daughter’s wedding, adding another layer of heartbreak to the tragedy”.
As the village grapples with the shock, the community has been vocal in their condemnation of the attackers.
“This is a shock not just for our family but for the entire nation as other innocent people were also killed in this attack ,” a resident remarked.
“He was a noble, joyous man, but fate had other plans.”
Political leaders have also weighed in, condemning the violence and calling for justice. “Everyone is united in grief and anger. Those responsible for this cowardly act must face justice,” Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen senior political figure in the Budgam told KINS.
The village of Budgam remains in mourning, as they prepare to lay their beloved doctor to rest.(KINS)
