SSP Bandipora chairs crime/security review meeting

Srinagar , December 04 ( KINS):  SSP Bandipora  Mohmmad Zahid -JKPS today chaired a security review meeting at the conference Hall of DPL Bandipora besides, discussed other crime works.

The meeting was attended by ASP Bandipora Shri Ashiq Hussain Tak-JKPS, Sr. PO DPO Bandipora, all SDPO’s/DYSP DAR, all SHOs/ IC PPs of district Bandipora. During the meeting discussion was held on the status of Case FIRs registered in 2021, backlog cases & their disposal, especially cases related to terrorism & narcotics. The overall security scenario of the district was discussed with jurisdictional police officers. The participating officers presented PowerPoint presentations regarding crime and security scenario of their respective jurisdictions. SSP Bandipora also reviewed the progress of actions taken against OGW networks of terrorist organisations operating in jurisdiction of district Bandipora.

Addressing the officers, SSP Bandipora, said that the jurisdictional supervisory officers must take all the necessary measures to improve investigation & disposal of cases by personally monitoring the cases. He stressed upon the officers to speed up the disposal of all pending cases especially UA(P) Act, NDPS Act cases. He stressed upon them to adopt latest techniques and standard practices which would bring improvement in investigation of the cases including cyber crimes.

SSP Bandipora also directed the officers to strengthen the security grid in their respective areas for ensuring peace and stability besides, take stringent action against those involved in anti-social activities. He also impressed that the COVID-19 SOPs/orders must be followed in letter & spirit.( KINS)
