Satish Sharma visits Chamb to review public Welfare & Development Programs

Reaffirms Govt’s commitment to equitable development across J&K

Srinagar,26 (KINS): Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, and Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma, conducted a comprehensive visit to Chamb constituency today, evaluating various public welfare and development initiatives underway in the region.
During his first visit to his home constituency, the Minister addressed a large gathering at Dori Dager, Tehsil Kharaballi. He assured the public that the newly formed government remains deeply committed to addressing the developmental aspirations and fundamental needs of the people.
“The current administration is focusing on ensuring comprehensive and equitable development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir, without discrimination,” stated Sharma. “Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Omar, we are confident this government will usher in a new era of growth, prosperity, and progress for the Union Territory.”
Sharma highlighted the government’s priority on extending development programs to rural and border areas, ensuring that these regions benefit from all relevant government schemes. He also encouraged collaboration from stakeholders to support ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life in Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing gratitude to the public for their support of government policies, Sharma pledged to work tirelessly for the advancement of the region. He emphasized that creating employment opportunities for educated youth remains a top priority, with the administration determined to meet the aspirations of the people and enhance their quality of life.
Earlier, the Minister paid his respects at Baba Mai Mal Devsthan in Panchayat Dori Dager, where he offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and progress of the region.(KINS)
