Lt Governor Administers ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ Pledge, Pays Tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Birth Anniversary

SRINAGAR, Oct 31 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administered the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ pledge to officers at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday, marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Commemorating the “Iron Man of India,” Sinha called on citizens to dedicate themselves to Patel’s ideals and contribute to building a prosperous, united India, or “Viksit Bharat.”

In a tribute posted on X, the Lt Governor wrote, “Humble tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ji, Iron Man of India, on his birth anniversary. He dedicated his life for India’s freedom & creation of a united India. On the occasion of his Janm-Jayanti, let us dedicate ourselves to his ideals & work towards building a Viksit Bharat.”
