Search operation underway in Bandipora’s dense forests

KINS DESK
Srinagar, Nov 02 (KINS): Security forces have launched a large-scale search operation in the forests of Bandipora district.
The Army, assisted by local police and paramilitary forces, has deployed additional personnel and resources to comb through the dense woodland of Panhaar Bandipora.
Reports said that two pithu bags, often used by terrorists to carry supplies, were recovered during the search, indicating the potential presence of armed insurgents in the area.
However, there was no official confirmation at the time of this report.
“The ongoing operation is part of a larger strategy to eliminate terrorist presence in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in areas where terrorists are suspected to be using forested regions as cover,” sources in the Army said.(KINS)
