Govt releases 20% DA hike for JKRTC employees

Srinagar Dec 03 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Transport Minister Satish Sharma has approved the release of a 20% Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC). The order according to news agency KINS was issued on Tuesday as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the welfare of JKRTC staff.

The minister stated the administration’s commitment to taking all necessary steps to ensure the well-being and benefit of JKRTC employees. “The government recognizes the vital role played by JKRTC employees and remains steadfast in addressing their concerns,” Sharma said.

This move has been widely welcomed by JKRTC employees, who view it as a significant step toward improving their financial stability. (KINS)
