J&K Govt recalls four Police officers from Ladakh, deputes two to UT

Jammu, Feb 14 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the repatriation of four police officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh, including three Superintendents of Police (SP), while deputing two officers from J&K to Ladakh.

The officers recalled to Jammu and Kashmir are SPs Deepak Digra, Majeeb-Ur-Rehman, Pardeep Singh, and DySP Abid Hussain.

In their place, Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari, Deputy Commanding Officer of IR-16 Battalion, and Govind Rattan, Additional SP of State Investigation Agency (SIA) Jammu, have been deputed to Ladakh.

The transfers are part of routine administrative reshuffling to optimize law enforcement resources across both Union Territories.(KINS)
