Jammu-Srinagar morning flight to begin from April 1: Dr Jitendra Singh

Jammu, March 8 (KINS): In a move aimed at easing travel for government officers and businessmen, the Civil Aviation authorities have approved a morning flight from Jammu to Srinagar, starting April 1, 2025.

Addressing a long-standing concern, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh announced the development on X (formerly Twitter).

“In response to a common complaint, mostly from government officers and businessmen, about the lack of a morning flight from Jammu to Srinagar, which made same-day travel difficult, a proposal was submitted to the Civil Aviation authorities,” Dr. Singh posted.

He further stated that the authorities have now agreed to launch a daily flight from Jammu to Srinagar at 10 AM, starting April 1.

The new service is expected to provide greater convenience to frequent travelers and improve connectivity between the two key cities of Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
