Another encounter erupts in Chatroo, Kishtwar
Kishtwar, Apr 09 (KINS): Another encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district in Jammu division on Tuesday.
This marks the second gunfight in the region today, following an earlier encounter reported in Udhampur.
A senior police official said the operation was launched after specific inputs were received about the movement of suspected militants in the area. A tight cordon was laid, and during the search operation, the security personnel came under heavy fire, triggering a fierce exchange of gunfire.
