3 Crore sanctioned for development in Zadibal: MLA Tanvir Sadiq flags off major infrastructure push

‘Every Area Will Feel the Change’

Srinagar July 10 (KINS): MLA Zadibal and J&K National Conference Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq on Wednesday announced the release of 3 crore from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for a series of vital works across the Zadibal constituency.

Calling it the dawn of a “new era of progress,” Sadiq said the funds will be used for comprehensive infrastructure upgrades, including the upgradation of key chowks such as Alamgiri Bazar, Rainawari, Soura, and MK Chowk, renovation of community halls, enhancement of sports facilities, and improvement of essential civic services like water supply, lanes, and drainage systems.

“The focus is clear — inclusive development that reaches every mohalla and every family. No one will be left out,” Sadiq said during the announcement.

Emphasizing cultural preservation alongside modernization, he said special attention would be paid to the beautification of religious and heritage sites in the constituency. Financial and developmental support for economically weaker sections is also a key part of the plan.

He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for increasing the CDF allocation to 4 crore and for the timely release of funds. He also welcomed the introduction of a digital approval system that he said would speed up development work and improve transparency.

“Development must be phased, people-centric, and visible on the ground — that’s my commitment to Zadibal,” Tanvir Sadiq affirmed.(KINS)
