Amarnath Yatra Continues Smoothly, Over 2.34 Lakh Pilgrims Take Darshan

Srinagar, July 16 (KINS): The Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 is progressing smoothly with uninterrupted movement of pilgrims along both the traditional routes to the Holy Cave, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir confirmed today, dismissing rumours of suspension being circulated on social media.

“As of July 15, more than 2.34 lakh yatris have had darshan of Baba Barfani. Even today, on July 16, pilgrims are proceeding from both Pahalgam and Baltal routes without any hindrance,” the official stated.

The administration has urged the public and media outlets to rely solely on official sources for updates regarding the Yatra. “Misinformation can cause unnecessary panic and confusion. We request media houses to verify facts before publishing and the public to avoid unverified content,” the statement added.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and peaceful pilgrimage for all devotees.(KINS)
