Weather to turn mostly dry in J&K after today’s rain

Srinagar, May 04 (KINS): According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir is expected to witness improvement in weather conditions after today’s spell of rain and thunderstorms.

From May 5, only brief spells of light rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered places, mainly in the afternoon.

Between May 6 and 9, the weather is expected to remain largely dry, although isolated showers cannot be ruled out.

Further, from May 10 to 12, the region is likely to see mostly dry weather with occasional light rain at scattered locations.

Authorities have advised people to remain cautious during today’s adverse weather, while conditions are expected to stabilize in the coming days. (KINS)
