Sriangar, May 08 (KINS): BJP J&K State Spokesperson Sahil Bashir Bhat on Friday said the INDIA Alliance has been exposed as a coalition driven by political compulsion rather than ideological unity, especially after recent political setbacks faced by the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal.
In a statement, Bhat said the Congress party, which projected the INDIA Alliance as a united opposition front, now appears politically isolated even among its own allies. He claimed that alliance partners continue to contest against each other in several states while publicly questioning each other’s leadership and credibility.
Referring to political developments in West Bengal, he said tensions between Congress and the Trinamool Congress have repeatedly surfaced despite claims of opposition unity. According to him, the recent setbacks and blame game within the alliance have further exposed the lack of trust and coordination among its constituents.
Bhat further alleged that the INDIA Alliance lacks ideological clarity and survives only on anti-BJP politics without presenting a concrete roadmap for governance or development.
He also claimed that parties such as the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference have taken positions on issues like governance and Article 370 that differ from the stand projected by other alliance partners, highlighting the absence of a common national vision.
He said the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continues to focus on development, stability and national interest while opposition parties remain engaged in internal conflicts and political survival.(KINS)
