Operation Sindoor showed India’s military strength and resolve: Rajnath Singh

Srinagar, May 08 (KINS): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said Operation Sindoor reflected the Indian armed forces’ swift, precise and coordinated response to protect national interests, while urging the military to stay prepared for future security challenges.

Addressing the joint military commanders’ conference in Jaipur, Singh said the operation highlighted India’s growing defence capabilities and the new military ethos of the country. He asked the three services to remain future-ready by strengthening capabilities in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, data analytics and secure communication networks.

The Defence Minister said future wars would increasingly involve hybrid threats, cyber and space warfare, information dominance and cognitive operations. He stressed the need for greater jointness, technological advancement and innovative thinking to maintain a strategic edge.

Singh also reaffirmed the Narendra Modi government’s commitment to modernising the armed forces with advanced weapons, platforms and research in emerging domains.(KINS)
