Chess championship to begin from May 22

Srinagar, May 19: The (AJKCA) has announced the UT Level Open Chess Championship 2026-27, which will be held at the Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, from May 22 to 24 for selecting players for the upcoming Senior National Championship for Men.
“We extend a warm invitation to all enthusiastic players from the UT of J&K to participate in this prestigious event. The last date for submission of entries is May 20, 2026, up to 6:00 PM. No entries will be accepted under any circumstances after the deadline,” the AJKCA said in a statement.
