Over 200 stranded tourists rescued in massive joint operation at Gulmarg: Police

Srinagar, May 25(KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said that more than 200 stranded tourists were successfully rescued in a large-scale joint rescue operation carried out in Gulmarg.
According to police, the operation involved personnel from SDRF, Gulmarg Police, Special Operations Group (SOG), Snow Leopards, and the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police, including 14 Mountain Rescue Teams.
The police said teams of NDRF and the High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) also made exemplary contributions to the coordinated rescue effort conducted amid challenging conditions.(KINS)
