Bandipora, October 17 (KINS): Bandipora Police conducted a traffic enforcement drive within the jurisdiction of Police Station Bandipora on Saturday, issuing challans to drivers found violating traffic rules.
The drive was carried out on the directions of Station House Officer (SHO) Himayat Ali. Police personnel checked vehicles at various locations and took legal action against traffic violations.
The initiative aimed to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and promote road safety for commuters and pedestrians.
Bandipora Police appealed to parents not to allow underage children to drive vehicles. Motorists were also advised to avoid overspeeding and rash driving, follow traffic rules and cooperate with the police in maintaining road safety.(KINS)
