SKIMS Clarifies Misinformation on Portable X-Ray Plant Circulation

Srinagar, Mar 28: The Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) has issued a statement addressing misinformation surrounding the functionality of portable X-ray plants within its facilities. In response to an old video circulating on Facebook, SKIMS emphasized that portable X-ray plants are fully operational and serving critical care, surgical observation, KTU, and Ward 7A.
The institution denounced the efforts of miscreants attempting to sow confusion among the public by circulating outdated footage. SKIMS reiterated that both X-ray machines are currently functional in the emergency department, while the X-ray plant in the outpatient department (OPD) is also in operation.
Furthermore, SKIMS announced the acquisition of a new X-ray plant designated for the ward block, which is set to be operational in the near future. The clarification aims to dispel any misconceptions and reassure the public of the institute’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services.
