WANTED: ‘Rs 10 Lakh Reward for Information Leading to Arrest of Designated Terrorist’

Srinagar, Apr 02: Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued a public notice seeking information leading to the arrest of a designated “terrorist”, Mohd Qasim Gujjar, also known as Suleman.
According to Police Gujjar is wanted in connection with several terrorist activities, including attacks, radicalization, recruitment, and terrorist financing.
“The FIR No. 02/2024 has been registered at Police Station CID CI Jammu against Gujjar, who has been designated as an Individual Designated Terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi”.
“Gujjar, aged 41, with a wheatish complexion and medium-sized build, is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with black, straight hair. He is known to dress in Pathani suits or combat attire. Gujjar’s parentage is Lt. Mohd Shafi, and he hails from Angralla, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi”.
In an effort to expedite his apprehension, a reward of Rs 10,00,000 (Ten Lakh Rupees) has been announced for anyone providing information leading to his arrest.
“The identity of the informant will be kept strictly confidential,” the police said.
“Members of the public with any relevant information are urged to contact the authorities via email at shareinfo.cid@jkpolice.gov.in or call the helpline at 9596101798. The police assure complete anonymity and confidentiality to those providing information”.
