Sgr Admin rebuts allegations of not allowing voters to come to the booths in cars

Terms allegations by candidate from Khanyar-AC as false & baseless
Srinagar , Sept 25 : The District Administration, Srinagar has rebutted the claims of one candidate from Khanyar Assembly Constituency (AC) wherein he has alleged that voters are not allowed to come to the booth in cars, terming them false and devoid of merits.

In an official communiqué, it was given out that “As verified by the concerned Magistrate, independent candidate Sheikh Imran was found using 5 vehicles with campaign posters while traveling from Brain Phollo to Polling Booth No. 33 (Middle School). The posters were removed, and the candidate was apprised about the MCC violation”.

Meanwhile, it was informed that polling is proceeding smoothly and fairly across all stations in the constituency, with complete CCTV coverage.
