Police recovers body in Srinagar; seeks help of general public in identification of the deceased

Srinagar : October 25: Police in Srinagar seeks help of general public in identification of an unidentified body recovered from river Jehlum.

Police Post Baghyas received an information through reliable sources that a dead body of an unidentified male was seen floating in the river Jhelum near Nalamandpora, Chattabal. Subsequently, a police party from Police Post Bagyas was deputed on the spot and after strenuous efforts, the dead body was fished out from the river.

Medico-legal formalities have been completed and the dead body of the deceased is kept in the mortuary of GMC Srinagar for identification purposes. General public is requested to come forward and help the Police in identification of the deceased person.
