Jammu, Jan 18 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a high-level meeting in Jammu today to review preparations for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
News agency KINS reported that senior officials, including Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat and heads of various departments, attended the meeting to ensure the successful organization of the national event.
The Chief Secretary underlined the significance of Republic Day as a matter of national pride and emphasized meticulous planning to make the celebrations seamless. “Republic Day is a moment of unity and pride for the nation. We must leave no stone unturned to ensure the event is conducted with precision and decorum,” he stated.
Senior police officials including the Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat presented a detailed plan for multi-layered security for the event and celebrations.
The Chief Secretary directed the police and other agencies to remain vigilant and ensure foolproof arrangements.
Officials reviewed arrangements at the main venue, including security arrangements, seating plans, stage setup, sound systems, and decor.
The Transport Department outlined measures to regulate traffic flow, ensuring smooth movement for participants, dignitaries, and the public.
CS instructed all departments to prioritize punctuality and efficiency.
He also called for comprehensive rehearsals to identify and address any gaps in the preparations.
The Chief Secretary encouraged broad participation to make the celebrations vibrant and inclusive.
The meeting concluded with a call for all departments to work in synergy to uphold the spirit of the Republic Day celebrations.
