Financial Commissioner (ACS) SED, Shantmanu, chairs comprehensive review meeting on J&K School Education Department

Srinagar, Feb 04 (KINS): Shantmanu (IAS), the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the School Education Department (SED) in Jammu & Kashmir, presided over an extensive review meeting aimed at assessing the current progress and future direction of the education sector in the region.
News agency KINS reported that the meeting focused on several key areas essential to the development and improvement of the education system.
A primary emphasis was placed on the ongoing initiatives that are crucial to enhancing the quality of education.
Detailed discussions were held on the status of infrastructure development in schools, exploring both achievements and the areas requiring urgent attention to ensure the facilities meet modern educational standards.
Further, a comprehensive review was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of various policies and programs aimed at boosting the quality of education.
Special attention was given to ensuring that educational outcomes are not only improved but are sustainable in the long run, with a particular focus on empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in an evolving world.
Shantmanu also stressed the importance of timely implementation and monitoring of the initiatives to make certain that the educational standards in Jammu & Kashmir continue to rise, ensuring all students have access to a quality education, supported by adequate resources and state-of-the-art infrastructure.(KINS)
